The Builders Association -- the leading trade association in Chicago for the commercial construction industry -- presented Seyfarth Shaw with its Corporate Citizenship Award for 2008. This honor celebrates the recipient’s dedication to giving back to the community and the firm was selected as a result of its community service activities, charitable giving and pro bono legal services. Seyfarth is committed to being an outstanding corporate citizen and an active contributor to communities where its people work and live. The firm’s Construction Practice Group has embraced that commitment by producing educational materials for industry members and mentoring the next generation of workers. Chicago Litigation partners Roger Price and Mark Johnson accepted the award on the Firm’s behalf. “The members of the Builders Association provide the brains and brawn that build the infrastructure, schools, hospitals, offices, residences and all the structures that make our civilization possible and worthwhile,” Roger noted. “We are truly privileged to work with these folks and humbled by their award.”
