Alex S. Johnson is a managing associate in the Real Estate Department of the Downtown Los Angeles office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. His practice encompasses a variety of transactional real estate and commercial finance matters, including acquisitions and dispositions; acquisition, construction, and permanent financings; development projects; and joint ventures. He has worked on over US $2 billion in transactions involving portfolios and single assets, including office, industrial, hotel, multi-family, retail and agricultural properties.
 
Mr. Johnson’s representative clients include: REITs; pension funds; private equity sponsors; investment banking firms; commercial developers; institutional lenders; healthcare systems and providers; hedge funds; landlords and tenants in commercial lease negotiations for office, industrial, medical and retail space; solar energy providers; and cities and redevelopment agencies.
