More About Barbara

As associate general counsel, Barbara provides legal advice and risk management support to the firm's management and attorneys on a wide range of legal and ethical matters.

Barbara has long committed herself to upholding ethical and professional legal practices. Prior to joining Seyfarth, Barbara was professional responsibility counsel at a national law firm, where she counseled attorneys on rules of professional conduct, professional liability matters, and firm policies, as well as resolving ethical and business matters arising from new business and lateral hire intake.

With an extensive, diverse legal background, Barbara understands how to support Seyfarth attorneys in many different areas of their work. Earlier in her career, Barbara was partner in a San Francisco law firm, where her focus was complex business and real estate litigation. She represented companies and individuals in a wide range of matters, such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, class action defense, and complex construction claims in state and federal court, including bankruptcy court. Barbara also served on the firm's management committee, and chaired its ethics and conflict resolution committee. She brings this experience to her work with Seyfarth attorneys daily.

Barbara understands that the quality of service clients receive at Seyfarth depends on the proper conduct of the attorneys who serve them. She is proud to help attorneys do a great job for their clients.
