Ms. Gilpatrick has a broad complex commercial litigation practice and has drafted court papers, including appellate briefs, motions for preliminary injunctions, motions to dismiss, motions for judgment on the pleadings, motions for summary judgment, and post-trial motions at both the state and federal levels.

Before practicing law, Ms. Gilpatrick worked as a political reporter for The Miami Herald, where she covered the 2008 presidential election as well as three sessions of the Florida Legislature. Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Gilpatrick clerked for the Honorable Raymond W. Gruender on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and was a Supreme Court and appellate litigation associate at another Washington, D.C. firm.
