Biography
Carlos L. Lopez is an associate in the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. A member of the firm’s Labor and Employment department, Mr. Lopez represents and counsels clients in all aspects of labor and employment law and related litigation and arbitration. He has experience in a wide array of matters, including employment contract disputes, wrongful discharge, sexual and other harassment, age, race, national origin, religious, sex and disability discrimination, and noncompete and restrictive covenant disputes. Mr. Lopez also handles wage-hour disputes under the Fair Labor Standards Act and similar state statutes. Mr. Lopez writes about developing areas of law, including alternative dispute resolution and the enforceability of mandatory arbitration agreements in the employment context.
