Ms. Cerasale is an associate in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP's Chicago office. 
 
Ms. Cerasale concentrates her practice in the employee benefits area and has experience advising clients as to a variety of benefits issues involving ERISA, employee benefit plans, and executive compensation.  With respect to ERISA and plan qualification issues, Ms. Cerasale has represented clients in matters before the Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service.  She has considerable experience with qualified pension and defined contribution plans, 403(b) and 457(b) plans, employee stock ownership plans, deferred compensation plans, and governmental pension plans. Ms. Cerasale also has assisted clients with welfare plan matters and executive compensation matters, including drafting and interpreting incentive plans, equity plans, and independent contractor, employment and separation agreements.  Ms. Cerasale has advised clients as to fiduciary and governance issues and responsibilities related to tax-qualified plans and with respect to employee benefit plans in corporate and lending transactions.
