Clothilde Verdier is an associate in the IEL department of Seyfarth Shaw (UK) LLP. Her practice focuses on both contentious and non-contentious French labor and employment matters. Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Verdier worked in the labor and employment department of the Paris office of a global US law firm.

Ms. Verdier advises on labor and employee-related issues in the context of restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing involving collective dismissals on economic grounds and multijurisdictional employee transfers. Ms. Verdier also has experience in individual matters such as drafting and modifying employment agreements, homeworking amendment, secondment and expatriation of employees, dismissals and termination through negotiation of settlement agreements, as well as collective matters, such as negotiation of collective agreement regarding working time, profit sharing, information and consultation of the employees’ representatives, codes of conduct, internal rules.

Ms. Verdier is experienced in representing employers in litigation trials before the French Courts regarding unfair dismissals, harassment and discrimination claims.
