Connor M. Bateman is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Atlanta office.

Mr. Bateman has a broad range of commercial litigation experience at both the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Bateman’s practice focuses on consumer protection litigation, including single-plaintiff and class actions involving credit reporting and background screening. He has also successfully represented clients in matters involving contract disputes, professional liability, land use, and zoning. Mr. Bateman has also litigated a variety of insurance-related matters, including coverage disputes and bad faith claims.

Mr. Bateman attended Georgia State University College of Law where he served as Legislation Editor of the Georgia State University Law Review. During law school, Mr. Bateman completed judicial externships with Chief Justice P. Harris Hines of the Supreme Court of Georgia and worked as a legislative and legal aide at the Georgia General Assembly. Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Mr. Bateman worked at a civil litigation specialty firm in Atlanta.
