More About Doug

Doug handles multiple challenges and matters facing the eDiscovery process on a daily basis. He consults on best practices for document collection and retention, and leverages some of the most cutting-edge technologies.

Doug gives the best value and resources to attorneys and their clients, in formulating defensible strategies for their evidence management. He and his team work hand-in-hand with eDiscovery attorneys and the Merits team to provide the most effective, streamlined means to review their evidentiary needs.

Prior to joining Seyfarth, Doug mainly focused on in-trial litigation support, providing a first level of technology prowess for presentation, evidence management, and case analysis to clients. In using that experience of more than 15 years of litigation support, he truly has seen it all, and can leverage that into a case thematic from the initial inception of a matter. Knowing the basic course of legal cases, Doug can put the proper processes in place in the beginning, which ultimately saves time and money as matters expand and grow.

Alongside his teammates in the Litigation Information Management Office, Doug works to analyze new technology offerings that assist clients and attorneys in best answering the questions of their data, and how it hurts or benefits their case. He uses a tiered approach with case analytics, computer-assisted learning reviews, and ultimately leverages the best technology available to make the weight of case analysis easier and more productive for all involved.

Doug is proud of his team's flexibility in time and effort. One of his colleagues may jump into a production need for him if available. Attorneys always know that the team is available to get them the information and data they need as soon as humanly possible. Doug and his team are there to help, and there to provide.
