Construction & Development Projects
Construction projects—from commercial developments to infrastructure improvements—involve complex interactions among project participants, and the potential pitfalls can cause contractual and other issues that may trigger delays, additional expense, disputes, and failed projects. Project participants must navigate a wide range of issues and risks, including financing, design and construction, compact schedules, tax implications, land use and entitlements, competitive influences, and other challenges that can arise during project development and construction.
HOW WE HELP
We are one of the largest and most experienced construction law practices in the United States, and we thoroughly understand all aspects—including, financial, business, and insurance issues—associated with construction management. Through our broad experience, we are skilled at strategically positioning our clients throughout the course of a project to maximize the return on their time and investment.
In delivering projects successfully, construction and development professionals rely on our comprehensive understanding of their objectives and risk tolerances, our full appreciation of the opportunities and challenges specific to each project, and our ability to formulate and effect creative and practical solutions to complex issues. We represent all elements of the construction and development industry, including contractors, owners, developers, lenders, architects and engineers, large subcontractors, and sureties.
