Ms. Staat is an associate in in the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and a member of the firm's Trust & Estates Department. 

Ms. Staat represents clients with a broad spectrum of goals and wealth.  She advises those requiring basic planning as well as high net worth individuals and business owners requiring custom planning, incorporating business and tax planning, in order to maximize and protect wealth and minimize federal and state estate taxes. 

While attending law school, Ms. Staat was awarded the Chancellors Award for Service achieved by her many years volunteering at the Art Institute of Chicago.  Since passing the bar, Greta has combined her philanthropic spirit with her passion for estate planning as a member of the Chicago Bar Association, where she has volunteered through the Young Lawyers Section Estate Planning Committee in the Wills for Heroes program, preparing wills and powers of attorney for both heath care and property for police officers and firemen in the Chicagoland area.
