Heather’s passion for project management can be described in a single, simple goal: delivering extraordinary client service.

More About Heather

Heather works closely with Seyfarth legal teams and the clients they serve on a wide variety of projects aimed at improving the delivery of legal services. On any given workday, you can find her leading “Voice of Client” interviews or using process improvement fundamentals like process mapping to improve efficiencies and better deliver substantive value. Heather also likes to dig for root causes of legal service delivery issues and, upon discovery and data analysis, implementing control mechanisms to monitor a legal team’s performance and improve quality. Additionally, Heather’s work as a project manager extends beyond involvement with the Seyfarth legal services—her project management is also brought in to assist with clients’ in-house legal processes.

A lifelong love of learning has been the catalyst for Heather’s career progression. It was curiosity about a Six Sigma green belt certification class that launched her into the field of project management. After collecting her belt, Heather also achieved certification as a project management professional (PMP). Since then Heather has continued her education, and in 2015 she earned her Lean Six Sigma black belt.

Heather started working for a top global professional services firm even before she earned her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University. For more than a decade, she gained experience in operations, human resources, and financial planning and analysis. Heather’s eventual entry into the legal industry began in a revenue services position at Seyfarth that gave her unique insights into the interactions between law firms and their clients.

Outside work, you will likely find Heather either volunteering or playing host to family gatherings. Heather has also recently picked up gardening. Aside from spending time with her son, she can’t think of any better way to spend an evening than listening to good music and storytelling around a campfire in her own backyard.

“To be successful in the transformation of legal services delivery, you must be relentless in the pursuit of true value for the client.”
