Heather Murray is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s New York office. Ms. Murray’s areas of focus include complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisition disputes, and internal investigations.  She has advised and defended corporations, investment banks, officers and directors, and individuals in connection with class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, and mediation and arbitration proceedings.
 
Before joining Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Murray was a litigation associate in the New York office of an international law firm, where she gained substantive securities, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisition litigation experience and as a pro bono volunteer helped develop and launch the Women's Leadership Initiative's Housing Clinic. For her pro bono effort, she was awarded the Legal Aid Society's 2014 Award for Innovative Pro Bono Assistance.
