Jacqueline Carpentier is counsel in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Boston office.  Her practice focuses on defending employers against single-plaintiff claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on sex, race, national origin, age, religion, pregnancy, disability, and other protected characteristics.  Ms. Carpentier has experience representing employers in federal and state courts, administrative agency investigations, arbitrations, and mediations.

Ms. Carpentier’s expertise also includes reviewing and drafting personnel policies and employee handbooks, advising on workplace investigations and employee discipline, conducting employment-related seminars, including sexual harassment prevention seminars, and managing employment litigation.

While at Quinnipiac University School of Law, Ms. Carpentier served as the Symposium Editor for the Health Law Journal, and, as a member of the Moot Court Society, won a regional championship at the 2013 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition regional tournament in New York City, earning her team the opportunity to compete at the final rounds in Chicago.
