Kevin S. Saman is an associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Los Angeles office. 

Mr. Saman has litigated in both state and federal courts throughout California and has experience in all phases of litigation. He has represented clients across a wide spectrum of industries in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, individual and class wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, and breach of contract, to name a few. Mr. Saman has also counseled employers on a variety of personnel matters, including termination and discipline decisions, wage and hour policy issues, workplace investigations, disability accommodation, and more. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Saman served in the Employment and Labor Law Division of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of the General Counsel in Washington, D.C. As in-house counsel and litigator, he represented the federal government in all types of labor and employment matters before a number of administrative bodies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Merit Systems Protection Board, and Federal Labor Relations Authority. For the five and a half years prior to his federal service, Mr. Saman was an associate in the Los Angeles office of a national labor and employment defense firm. During law school, he clerked for Administrative Law Judge Joel Kravetz at the EEOC’s headquarters and interned in the Counterterrorism Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division.
