Lauren Crossman is an associate in the International Employment Law Practice of Seyfarth Shaw Australia’s Sydney office.
 
Lauren provides strategic and commercial legal advice on all aspects of employment law, including work health and safety and industrial relations. Lauren’s experience includes:
  • Acting in employment litigation and prosecutions including discrimination, general protections, unfair dismissal and breach of contract claims, appeal proceedings and work health and safety prosecutions
  • Developing practical solutions to manage risk in implementing workplace change, performance management and disciplinary, grievance and termination processes 
  • Advising on restructuring, transfers of employment, cross-border employment arrangements and employment due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions
  • Providing strategic advice on compliance and governance issues including directors’ and officers’ duties, work health and safety, privacy, executive remuneration and incentive plans, and labour supply chain management
In addition, Lauren’s prior experience in tax and real estate law has provided transactional knowledge which complements her commercial employment expertise. Lauren also has extensive experience in providing pro bono legal assistance in relation to both employment matters and broader access to justice issues.
