Throughout over 25 years of legal service, Lawrence Moss has successfully represented institutional investors, investment advisors, developers, buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, landlords and tenants in all aspects of complex real estate investment transactions.

Mr. Moss has negotiated and structured significant transactions involving retail, industrial, commercial and residential properties. He offers a wealth of experience regarding corporate and organizational structuring related to real estate investments, and frequently handles real estate transactions for nonprofit and charitable organizations.

Among his accomplishments, Mr. Moss has documented and closed a multimillion dollar participating and shared appreciating loan transaction for an investor group, providing construction and permanent financing for a leading business campus; represented the developer in all phases of the development of several high-profile residential project in downtown Chicago; represented a large charitable organization in its purchase of several floors of a downtown Chicago office building for its new headquarters; handled numerous multi-state and multi-property sale transactions for institutional buyers and sellers; and represented clients in the leasing of space (office, retail and industrial) to large corporate tenants, including Bank of America, UBS, Xerox, Paine Webber, Best Buy; Walgreen’s, General Electric, Home Depot, Jewel Food Stores and many more.

In addition, Mr. Moss serves as fiduciary counsel to an Illinois public pension fund with assets as of this writing of $25 billion. He is experienced in advising pension fund and other advisors regarding fiduciary and investment issues.
