Seyfarth Shaw opened its first California office in Century City in 1973 with two partners from its Chicago office.  Today, we are a full service office that has more than 90 lawyers with significant experience in business transactions, intellectual property, trust and estates, commercial litigation, employee benefits, international and employment law. 

Through their pro bono work and contributions of their time and talent to many charitable organizations and worthy causes, attorneys and our staff in both Los Angeles offices make a studied effort to give back to the community of which we have been a proud part nearly 40 years. In addition to our pro bono work, the Los Angeles Office is actively involved with numerous local and nationwide charitable organizations. Among others, we work with Alliance for Children's Rights, Arthritis Foundation, California Bar Foundation, Comfort Zone Camp, Costco Scholarship Fund, Freeze the Disease, Habitat for Humanity LA, LA County Bar Foundation, Lawyers for Literacy -- Everybody Wins!, Legal Aid Foundation of LA, Para Los Ninos, PATH Partners, Public Counsel and the Western Center on Law & Poverty.
