Margaret Manos is counsel in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  Her practice focuses on defending employers against single-plaintiff claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on sex, race, national origin, age, religion, pregnancy, disability, and other protected characteristics.  Ms. Manos has experience representing employers in federal and state courts, administrative agency investigations, and mediations.

Prior to Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Manos was a senior in-house attorney for a large regional employer in Charlotte.  In that role, Ms. Manos advised on accommodation and leave requests, investigations into employee misconduct, drafting of personnel policies,  and wage & hour issues.

Following law school, Ms. Manos clerked for the Honorable Richard A. Elmore on the North Carolina Court of Appeals for two years.  Ms. Manos is active in the North Carolina Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section, and is currently the Vice Chair.
