Matthew Martin is an Affirmative Action Advisor with the Affirmative Action & Diversity Consulting Team of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  Mr. Martin joined Seyfarth Shaw LLP in 2012 with a background in Mathematics, Computer Programming, and Economics.

Mr. Martin specializes in all facets of affirmative action program development, development of statistical analyses and technical assistance.  Mr. Martin has a specialized expertise in the use of technology to enhance and streamline the delivery of statistical analyses, compensation reports, and other affirmative action tools.  At Seyfarth, Mr. Martin’s responsibilities include:
 

  • The review and validation of client data and the development of affirmative action plans including related analyses for affirmative action compliance purposes.
     
  • The development of compensation analyses, including the model currently recommended by the National Office of the OFCCP.  Mr. Martin is responsible for developing a pay equity cohort analysis tool and a preliminary compensation analysis tool in response to the OFCCP’s compensation directive 307 that provides our clients the ability to quickly assess their compensation risk.
     
  • The development of impact ratio analyses using individual human resources information to analyze employment activity such as internal and external applicants, hires, promotions, transfers and terminations.
     
  • Assisting in the OFCCP Compliance Evaluation process, including the gathering of material responsive to an OFCCP request for documents.
     
  • Development of computer programs, validation tools, and other technology solutions to deliver better, more comprehensive, and more streamlined affirmative action plans.
