Meredith C. Bailey is an associate in the Labor & Employment Department and a member of the Wage & Hour Litigation Practice Group and OFCCP Compliance, Affirmative Action & Diversity Team at Seyfarth Shaw LLP.

Ms. Bailey represents publicly held and privately owned employers in virtually all areas of labor and employment law, including claims under Title VII, the ADEA, ADA, FLSA, and the NLRA, as well as breach of contract claims arising out of executive compensation disputes. She has successfully defended employers in single and multiple plaintiff cases in federal and state courts in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.  She has also represented clients in matters before various federal, state, and local administrative agencies.

For clients who are federal contractors, Ms. Bailey provides specialized assistance in developing and implementing affirmative action plans, as well as advice on complying with other federal contract compliance obligations.  She works with clients to build best EEO practices and ensure compliance with mandates impacting personnel decisions, such as hiring, compensation, and employee discipline.  She also counsels employers on employment-related issues, including wage and hour issues, employee leave policies, and harassment training.
