Pavan Dhillon is an associate in the Immigration practice group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP's San Francisco office and a member of Seyfarth's Canadian Immigration and Global Mobility Teams.

Ms. Dhillon practices exclusively in the area of Canadian Immigration law and assists clients in securing a wide range of temporary and permanent status options in Canada. She has successfully completed a wide range of Canadian immigration applications including Labour Market Impact Assessments, NAFTA and GATS professional work permits, intra-company transfer work permits for specialized knowledge and senior managers, Provincial Nominee Programs, investor class applications, Federal Skilled Workers, Canadian Experience Class and family-based sponsorships. Whether her clients are multi-national corporations or individuals, she tailors a specific immigration strategy taking into account her clients' long-term and immediate goals. She has also worked extensively on Canadian Citizenship applications as well as Permanent Resident card renewals.

Ms. Dhillon also has an excellent track record arguing cases before the Immigration Appeal Division and has successfully concluded Judicial Review applications at the Federal Court of Canada. Ms. Dhillon is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, and has served clients in each of these languages.

Ms. Dhillon pursued her interest in international migration law early in her career and has previously interned with the South Asian Human Rights Documentation Centre in New Delhi, India, a non-governmental organization with special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Ms. Dhillon also interned at the International Organization for Migration -- United Nations Observer office in New York City. She has also volunteered for Amnesty International's Refugee Network and the Rotary Youth Leadership series.

Ms. Dhillon is a former member of the Canadian Bar Association of British Columbia's Immigration Law Section Executive and the former chair of the CBA BC's subcommittee for the Immigration Appeal Division.
