Shima Jalalipour is an associate in the Real Estate department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Ms. Jalalipour's experience includes the development, leasing, financing, acquisition and disposition of multifamily, office, student housing, shopping center, industrial and healthcare projects.
 
Previously, Ms. Jalalipour was a real estate associate and an energy finance associate in the New York and Houston offices of other large international law firms.  She has prior experience representing energy companies and financial institutions in a variety of commercial transactions, including drafting ISDA documents for financial transactions and power generating facilities and representing large financial institutions in connection with secured hedge arrangements. 
 
Ms. Jalalipour is also actively involved in the firm’s pro bono efforts.  She was featured in the Tahirih Justice Center’s Pro Bono Attorney Spotlight in April 2016 for her work representing a human trafficking victim through the federal investigation of her traffickers and related immigration issues.
 
While in law school, Ms. Jalalipour served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Justice Hanks of the Texas First Court of Appeals.  She is fluent in Persian.
