Mr. Dailey is an attorney in the Labor & Employment department at Seyfarth Shaw’s Chicago office. Mr. Dailey has represented and counseled Fortune 100 employers regarding many aspects of traditional labor law and labor relations, including representing employers during union organizing campaigns, union decertification campaigns, arbitration hearings, and unfair labor practice charges, and representation case hearings before the National Labor Relations Board. He has negotiated collective bargaining agreements as a second and third chair management negotiator, counseled human resources, operations and executive management functions on labor contract compliance and advising management, and has represented management in both court supervised and neutral mediation and settlement proceedings. Mr. Dailey has drafted numerous provisions in CBA’s, and has investigated and defended numerous labor arbitration grievances before Federal Mediation and Conciliation and American Arbitration Association Arbitrators.

Mr. Dailey has settled numerous employment litigation claims prior to trial, saving clients excessive litigation fees and costly plaintiff verdicts.  Mr. Dailey also represents and counsels Fortune 100 and Fortune 1000 employers in a wide range of employment related matters, including mediations, fact finding conferences, settlement negotiations, discrimination and harassment lawsuits, state unemployment hearings, charges before administrative agencies, and other protected employment categories, including, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
