Ms. Stewart’s legal practice focuses on construction and commercial litigation.  In her construction practice, Ms. Stewart represents owners, contractors, and design and engineering professionals in all litigation matters.  Ms. Stewart has significant experience litigating a wide range of complex commercial and financial disputes involving breach of contract and business torts.  Ms. Stewart also litigates various bankruptcy, products liability, trade secret, non-compete, and trademark matters.  She has experience litigating in federal and state courts, as well as arbitrating before the American Arbitration Association and FINRA.  Ms. Stewart’s courtroom knowledge is extensive as she has argued countless motions before state and federal trial courts and chaired numerous jury trials to verdict.  Ms. Stewart is also skilled in the nuances and complexities of appellate issues.  Ms. Stewart is active in the community and is a regular pro bono volunteer with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Cobb Justice Foundation.

Ms. Stewart graduated from the University of Georgia, summa cum laude and with highest honors from the Honors Program, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in International Business and a minor in Spanish.  She then went on to earn her Master of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Economics.  She graduated with her Juris Doctorate degree from Georgia State University College of Law magna cum laude.  While in law school she was the President of the Moot Court Honor Society, Managing Editor of the Georgia State Law Review, a Pupil for the Bleckley Inn of Court, and a Graduate Research Assistant for the professional responsibility class.  While in law school, Ms. Stewart was awarded the Outer Barristers’ Guild Award for being one of the top ten academic students in the class and the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award in recognition for being the graduate who best represents a combination of scholarship and leadership.  Ms. Stewart also interned for Justice Harold D. Melton at the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Honorable Judge Richard W. Story at the Northern District of Georgia.
