Will E. Wilder is an associate in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Chicago office.

Mr. Wilder advises public and private employers, benefit plan sponsors and service providers on a wide variety of benefit plan arrangements and administration, including compliance with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, the Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, and COBRA, among others.  He regularly counsels clients in plan documentation (including drafting plan documents, SPDs, and amendments), plan qualification (including correction of plan operation errors), and other benefit plan issues.

Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Mr. Wilder clerked for the Honorable Maurice A. Ross of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and was an associate at a Washington, DC-based employee benefits specialty firm.

Mr. Wilder is active in the National Bar Association, where he previously served as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division and member of the NBA Board of Governors.  He is also an active member of The George Washington University Law School Alumni Association Board of Directors, where he currently serves on the Executive Committee.
