Angela Duerden is Counsel in the Labor & Employment department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Sacramento office.

Ms. Duerden is an experienced litigator, having defended employers in proceedings before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in both California and Florida.  She regularly defends employers against a variety of employment claims, including actions involving discrimination and harassment, restrictive covenants, whistleblower claims, protected leaves of absence and disability issues.  Ms. Duerden also provides advice and counsel to employers on a variety of employment law related issues.

At the University of Florida, Angela earned her BA in German language and literature.  After graduation, she traveled to Europe and studied at the University of Innsbruck in Austria.  Angela went on to obtain a Master's Degree in German Literature from Vanderbilt University before attending law school.  While in law school, Ms. Duerden worked as the law clerk to the General Counsel of Konica Business Technologies, Inc. in Windsor, Connecticut.
