Seyfarth partner Bob Reynolds will present at the inaugural meeting of the Global Benefits and Compensation Roundtable, in collaboration with The Conference Board, Seyfarth Shaw and Cleary Gottlieb. The Roundtable is a bi-monthly meeting of compensation and benefits professionals discussing cross-border compensation and benefits issues. Each meeting is 75 minutes long and is streamed live globally via webcast.
Seyfarth Employee Benefits partner Howard Pianko is the co-originator of this program and will co-moderate each program.
The Roundtable is targeted toward benefits and compensation professionals at multi-national entities. Discussions at the Roundtable meetings will be led by experts from different disciplines (legal, accounting, actuarial, trust and custodial services, investment management, banking and plan administration) and backgrounds (multinational companies and their cross-border benefits and compensation service providers and other professionals).
Registrants will receive access to the meetings as they are streamed, as well as a library of videos and materials on topics that have been presented.
The following is a tentative schedule of the upcoming Roundtable meetings:
January 21, 2014 - Management tax issues in cross-border M&A
March 25, 2014 - Cross-border non-competition, confidentiality and intellectual property agreements
May 27, 2014 - Pension governance, investment and risk management on a global basis
July 29, 2014 - Tax equalization program design and implementation
September 30, 2014 - Cross-border equity plan administration issues
