Labor and Employment chair, Lisa Damon participated as a panelist discussing: “What Truly Impacts Buying Decisions?” What will it cost the firm to do the work? And how much latitude does the firm or practice group have to change the manner in which they work – including changes to what the firm recognizes, measures and rewards internally.

The Ark Group’s 4th annual AFA Forum: Value-Based Fee Arrangements & Legal Service Logistics once again provided an ideal platform for candid discussion around what firms and their clients are doing in pursuit of more fundamental shifts in the service-delivery model. This panel discussion illustrated how a culture of collaboration and engagement facilitates opportunities to define a shared language around value and partner with clients on process improvement initiatives that enable fixed fee work with aligned interests, lower costs, and increased predictability.
