The past decade has seen tremendous growth in the use of mediation as an alternative to the litigation of employment disputes. The ethical dimensions present in mediation can put parties in challenging and conflicting and positions. As an employer, it is important to have a clear understanding of the role of the mediator and the principles that govern the relationship.

Please join Seyfarth Shaw attorneys and JAMS mediator Margaret Shaw for an interactive presentation on the ethical considerations of mediation. The program will feature an actual mediation session that includes in-depth discussions relating to the ethical dilemmas faced by the parties involved as well as a mediator's pointers on successful mediation practice.
