The conference and the various sessions will explore public health law practice and various legal compliance challenges faced by private sector employers, hospitals and state and local government agencies. The principal audience for the conference will be attorneys representing health care providers, private sector employers, civil rights, community health, and labor organizations, and state and local government agencies. Additionally, medical directors, risk managers, EH&S managers and human resources staff are encouraged to attend the conference.
5.5 CLE credits (1.5 Ethics, 4.0 General) are available at no additional cost. Credits and CLE certificates are provided by Nixon Peabody LLP, a certified and accredited provider of continuing legal education in the State of California.
Brian Ashe, partner, and Kamili Williams Dawson, associate, in Seyfarth Shaw's San Francisco office, will be presenting "Mandating Health Care for Employees?" for an upcoming Public Health Law Program. The presentation will focus on the legal ramifications of pandemic flu and other emerging infectious diseases.
