John Hatherly founded Wynnchurch Capital in 1999. Wynnchurch Capital is a leading Middle Market Private Equity firm which manages in excess of $1.1 billion of capital. Wynnchurch invests in complex transactions involving companies in transition including corporate carveouts, underperforming companies, operational turnarounds, restructurings, bankruptcies and other special situations. Wynnchurch invests in companies with revenues in excess of $50 million in aerospace, defense, transportation, building materials, energy, metals, mining, paper and packaging, and business services. Prior to founding Wynnchurch, Mr. Hatherly enjoyed a twelve year career as a senior executive at GE Capital's Merchant Banking Group. Before GE Capital, Mr. Hatherly spent three years in banking with the First National Bank of Chicago and BankOne.
Jeff Golman is an investment banking veteran with over 30 years of extensive experience building and managing leading investment banking franchises. He originates and executes the full spectrum of domestic and international corporate finance transactions including M&A, leveraged buyouts, financial restructurings, debt and equity financings and a broad range of financial advisory services for both public and private companies across multiple industries, including consumer and retail, industrials, food and beverage, business and industrial services and building products.
Bruce Lubin oversees the teams delivering commercial banking services to Illinois-based companies, as well as national companies with the Bank’s Specialized Industry Groups. He also leads the groups responsible for the Private Equity practice and Structured Finance efforts. He has over 30 years of experience in financial services and joined The PrivateBank in 2007. He most recently held the role of Executive Vice President and Head of Illinois Commercial Banking Group for LaSalle Bank, N.A., which consisted of 37 divisions.
Ted Cornell is a Partner in Seyfarth Shaw's Corporate Practice Group. He is a transaction-oriented corporate lawyer with experience in finance and business combinations, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, mezzanine investments, secured lending, workouts and restructuring. Mr. Cornell also acts as counsel to a number of corporations on general corporate matters, including employment contracts, equipment purchases, relationships with customers and suppliers, licensing and advice to boards of directors.
Michel Feldman is a Partner in Seyfarth Shaw’s Corporate Practice Group. In more than 30 years of legal service, Michel has represented numerous individuals, families, trusts, and public and private corporations in a wide range of complex corporate transactions. Among his accomplishments, Michel has structured and assisted with the planning, negotiation, and financing of transactions involving management buyouts and merger and acquisitions ranging from $1 million to $1 billion, including Special Purpose Acquisition (SPAC) transactions. He has served clients in industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, computer software, entertainment, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and more.
