The Boston office of Seyfarth Shaw co-sponsored a third-annual real estate panel discussion with the Boston Business Journal, "Real Estate Finance and Development 2.0 - Looking Ahead." Andrew Pearlstein, Co-Chair of the Structured & Real Estate Finance practice and a partner in the Boston office moderated the panel, which included a seasoned group of lenders and developers from New England and New York. Melissa Farrell of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, Richard Friedman of Carpenter & Company, Inc., Stephen Karp of New England Development, Pietro Scola of Cantor Fitzgerald, and John A. Wolff of Bank of America Merrill Lynch addressed questions that touched upon several of the hot-button issues of the day, including CMBS 2.0, the current state of commercial real estate and real estate development. Their discussion was timely, lively and informative to an audience of 200 real estate professionals and decision makers.
