Tenth Annual Real Estate Tax Forum

The Practicing Law Institute will be hosting its Tenth Annual Real Estate Forum. The two day forum will:

• Give tips for dealing with the new legislation on “carried interests”
• Examine the unique issues involved in reverse and related-party like-kind exchanges
• Explore the use of creative deferral and non-recognition strategies
• Study the ethical issues arising in joint ventures with opportunity funds, like-kind exchanges and workouts and debt restructurings

John Napoli, co-managing partner of the New York office, will be a presenter during the session, “Joint Ventures with Opportunity Funds, Tax- Exempt Investors & REITs.”
