The Change to Win Coalition (CTW) is actively organizing workers in industries such as health care, hospitality, security and building maintenance, and it is using the current push for Immigration Reform as a vehicle to publicize itself and organize workers. Seyfarth Shaw is presenting a series of breakfast briefings to discuss this new wave of union organizing, the industries and workers being targeted, the current climate at the National Labor Relations Board, and what non-union employers should be doing to stay union free.

Among the issues that will be discussed at this first breakfast briefing will be:

  • What is happening both nationally and locally with respect to union organizing and how should employers prepare for this new wave?
  • How is the CTW using the issue of immigration reform to organize workers and how should employers respond to employees who want to participate in the immigration reform rallies?
  • What are the chances for meaningful immigration reform this year and how will that affect the labor scene in New England and around the country?
