Gabriella Burnham brings more than seven years of immigration experience to her position as the Business Immigration Group’s Education Lead at Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She supports the 100+ person international team and is primarily responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the Business Immigration Group’s education program, including new employee training, education and training in our core areas of service, professional development trainings for existing employees, and developments in new content. She works with the immigration team’s key stakeholders to design innovative process improvements and technology solutions, always with an eye on best practices.
 
In addition to inbound U.S. immigration work, Ms. Burnham supports Seyfarth’s outbound Global Mobility teams through training, education, and infrastructure development. She has designed original technology solutions, including a customized web-based questionnaire and vetting tool for Canada’s Express Entry program.
 
Ms. Burnham earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing from the Writer’s Foundry at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York and her Bachelor’s degree in English literature from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. In her spare time, she teaches college writing courses and writes fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. Her most memorable immigration cases at Seyfarth have been assisting with pro-bono Temporary Protected Status applications.
