Matt Gagnon Writes on EEOC Publicizing Labor Disparities with Pay Data in Bloomberg Law

Seyfarth’s Matt Gagnon authored an article, “EEOC Confirms Labor Disparities with Pay Data, and Monitors Gaps,” in Bloomberg Law on March 15. Gagnon discussed the EEOC’s release of pay data which conveyed the agency’s position that gaps persist by gender, race, and ethnicity, and that its dashboard is a tool to address pay discrimination.

“The agency’s move to publish this data also puts forth a framework it suggests can track ongoing disparities—as a way to gain awareness of pay discrimination and address it.”
