Condon McGlothlen and Cindy Westervelt were quoted in an August 23 story “4 Tips for Retailers Shutting Down Stores” in Corporate Counsel on why companies can't forget to take employment law into consideration when closing down a retail store. McGlothlen said that he hears about supply chain issues even more these days from clients deciding whether to exit a market or location. Westervelt said that, if you are closing group of stores, you may see organizing activity at some of your other stores.
