James McNairy quoted in Compliance Week

James McNairy was quoted in a May 24 story “Companies now have federal remedy to protect trade secrets” from Compliance Week on the new Defend Trade Secrets Act that creates for the first time a federal civil remedy for trade secret misappropriation. McNairy said that instead of having a patchwork of state statutes that define what a trade secret is, you now have a uniform federal Act that defines what a trade secret is, providing some certainty and reliability for companies to identify and protect their trade secrets.
