Larry Lorber was quoted in "To Confirm or Not? That May Be the Question for Some DOL Directors," a May 4 story in Bloomberg BNA on whether the directors of the DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Office of Labor-Management Standards and Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs should require senate confirmation. Lorber said that one possible effect of requiring confirmation for the positions would be to increase congressional oversight of the agencies.
