Our corporate and commercial practice focuses on a wide range of practice such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial, corporate strategies, IPOs, regulatory compliance, tax, and public takeovers in Hong Kong, China, South East Asia, the USA and Europe. Our  lawyers bring strong expertise in the areas of Fintech, E-commerce, healthcare, real estate, financial services, energy and natural resources. The corporate team comprises multi-jurisdictional and cross-practice lawyers with many years of experience.

Our employment lawyers work as part of Seyfarth’s International Employment Law practice. This global team delivers round the clock solutions to the complex labor and employment issues multinational companies face. The Hong Kong team provides strategic advice to international companies with operations across Asia Pacific or which are looking to expand or acquire into the region.  The team covers the full employee lifecycle and range of employment law and compliance projects, in addition to restructuring, acquisition/post-acquisition integration, disputes and internal investigations.

Our Hong Kong office brings together East and West and, together with our colleagues on the ground in Shanghai, Mainland China, represents the wider firm in Asia.  The Hong Kong office fosters an ethos of collaboration that is led by an inclusive and diverse culture and team spirit and reflects our reputation as an innovative global law firm in a truly international business community.

We are proud of the work we do to support local charities and global causes. Out lawyers have taken part in the annual Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 10K event to raise funds for the Orbis Seeing is Believing project, the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled, and the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society. We also joined with Seyfarth colleagues from around the world to take part in the Girl Up Global 5K to raise funds for the UNFPA program in India.

Our office, on the 37th floor of Edinburgh Tower, Landmark, is at the heart of the Central district. The office is situated near the high courts of Hong Kong, as well as the headquarters of major international corporations and financial services businesses.
