Ada Dolph quoted by Human Resource Executive, “Cracking Down on Confidentiality Agreements”

Ada Dolph was quoted in an April 6 story from Human Resource Executive on the recent Securities and Exchange Commission announcement of its first “enforcement action” against a company it said had used restrictive language in its confidentiality agreements. Dolph predicts more actions by the agency involving different employer-employee agreements are likely to follow. She also advises HR executives who want to stay ahead of the SEC’s enforcement initiative to take the time, now, to review all of their agreements and policies to ensure they do not contain confidentiality language that might catch the attention of the SEC or a whistleblower plaintiff’s attorney.
