Alison Silveira and Lilah Wylde Writes on Collegiate Athletes Able to Assert Claims Under FLSA in Employee Relations Law Journal

Seyfarth’s Alison Silveira and Lilah Wylde authored an article, “Game, Set, . . . and On to the Match: U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit Breaks Precedent, Recognizing That Collegiate Athletes May Assert Claims Under the Fair Labor Standards Act,” in the 2024 winter issue of the Employee Relations Law Journal. The Seyfarth attorneys discussed a federal circuit court of appeals holding that collegiate athletes may assert claims under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
