Andrew Paley Discusses Estrada Case Ruling in Law360

Law360 Employment Authority quoted Andrew Paley in its article, “Calif. Justices' PAGA Ruling Eliminates Defense Strategy,” on January 23. Paley discussed how a California Supreme Court ruling that trial courts can't toss cases under the state's Private Attorneys General Act for being too unwieldy means employers can no longer pursue a certain path to dismissal, though other options and arguments remain.

“A motion to dismiss for lack of manageability has been a strategy pursued by many employers, and the court has said that the trial court can no longer dismiss the case.”
