Seyfarth’s Anthony LaPlaca, Dawn Solowey, Andrew Scroggins, and Adrienne Lee co-authored an article, “Mitigating Construction Employers' Risks Of Discrimination,” in Law360 on October 15. The Seyfarth attorneys discussed how construction industry employers should be aware of antiharassment guidelines issued by the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in June, illustrating that the EEOC would put the construction industry squarely in its sights.

“Construction employers should also ensure that they have clear, up-to-date policies on discrimination and harassment. Workplace policies should define covered individuals, prohibited conduct and reporting procedures.”
