Bart Lazar quoted in Inside Cybersecurity

Bart Lazar was quoted in an August 2 story “OMB links security to privacy in new guide for government-wide-risk-based data management” from Inside Cybersecurity on the White House Office of Management and Budget guidance requiring all federal agencies to adopt a risk-based approach to managing information and networks, while arguing an explicit link between security controls and privacy protections. Lazar said this standardizes the government’s approach to security and privacy in a way that Congress has failed to do.
