Brent Clark Discusses New OSHA Rule Providing Guidance on Workplace Inspections in Bloomberg Law

Bloomberg Law quoted Brent Clark in its article, “New OSHA Rule Gives Hazy Guidance on Safety Inspection Tagalongs,” on April 5. Clark discussed a new OSHA rule on workplace inspections that has left employers with a vague roadmap for how inspectors approve outside worker representatives for “walkarounds” and how to challenge those decisions.

“If the outside representative arrived at the inspection at the same time as the inspector, that could lead to the employer believing OSHA had tipped off the representative and employees about the inspection.”
