About the Program

You're Invited!

Join Seyfarth’s Immigration and Compliance Enforcement Specialty Practice for the inaugural session of our Compliance Chatter Virtual Meetings—an exclusive series for our clients and friends.

As we prepare for a potential surge in ICE worksite enforcement under the anticipated Second Trump Administration, let’s grab a coffee (or your favorite beverage!) and dig into the pressing questions that keep us up at night. We’ll share insights on what’s buzzing in Washington, discuss expected executive orders, address employer challenges affecting business operations, and explore what companies should—and shouldn’t—be doing right now to stay ahead.

Our January session will spotlight the post-inauguration landscape (whatever surprises that may hold) and dive into critical worksite compliance and anti-discrimination issues, including:

  • Preparing for intensified worksite enforcement actions.
  • Navigating increased I-9 audits and FDNS site visits.
  • Understanding DOJ investigations tied to "Buy American, Hire American" policies, along with other potential pitfalls.

Compliance Chatter will feature expert guests, including former ICE Special Agents, in-house counsel, electronic I-9 vendor specialists, policy insiders from Capitol Hill, and representatives from industry and government.

Speakers

Dawn M. Lurie, Senior Counsel, Seyfarth Shaw LLP
Mahsa Aliaskari, Partner, Seyfarth Shaw LLP
John Connolly, Senior Managing Director, Guidepost Solutions
