About the Program
Join Seyfarth’s Immigration and Compliance Enforcement Specialty Practice for the latest session of Compliance Chatter, our exclusive virtual series for clients and friends.
Since the inauguration of the Trump administration, immigration enforcement and compliance efforts have ramped up significantly, with ICE focusing on the removal of noncitizens with criminal records, conducting more worksite investigations and an overall increased focus on Form I-9 compliance. Employers should consider a proactive approach to ensure they are audit-ready and prepared for potential government visits.
Key Topics We’ll Cover:
- The Latest in I-9 Compliance & Enforcement Trends – Understanding the impact of the administration’s priorities
- Audit Readiness – Steps to ensure your I-9 records and policies withstand government scrutiny
- Strategies for Handling Government Audits & Investigations – Guidance from seasoned attorneys who have been deeply immersed in this space for decades
- Navigating Electronic I-9s – What employers need to know about electronic systems- responsibilities and risks
The Compliance Chatter series continues to feature expert guests, including former ICE Special Agents, in-house counsel, electronic I-9 vendor specialists, policy insiders from Capitol Hill, and representatives from industry and government.
