Daniel Klein quoted by the National Law Journal, “Railroads Challenge New Massachusetts Sick-Leave Law”

Daniel Klein was quoted in a July 1 story in the National Law Journal on the recent news that Amtrak and other rail carriers sued Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey in Boston federal court, arguing that federal railroad and other laws pre-empt the state’s new sick-leave requirement.  Klein said there’s a strong likelihood the Railway Labor Act would pre-empt the law based on past practice and case law within the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
